This answer is from an airline captain of over 12 years of airline flying and I can say that if you spend the extra money to get professional add-ons such as IXEG 737-300 or Flight Factor A320 and get the appropriate handbooks from Mike Ray at Utem press you will be flying an aircraft that on current equipment is as close as you will ever get to flying the real thing. Perhaps what makes the C-47 so authentic in every respect is due to Aeroworx’s access to the C-47 planes through the South African Airways Museum Society, of which they are members.
